Important guidelines
Bookings procedure and policy
An advance booking with vehicle registration number is recommended to secure space. It is possible to make and manage bookings 24/7 using applications Freight Portal/ Freight Planner (phone application).
Stena Line does not carry forward bookings to the following day unless specifically instructed to do so. In such instances, all requests are dependent on space availability.
For regular weekly flows of business, we would be delighted to arrange allocation of pre-booked space, which would need confirmation no later than 11:00 on the day of intended evening. If travelling in the morning departure at 09:00 we need a confirmation at 13:00 the day before. If travelling on weekends, confirmation is needed no later than 13:00 on Friday.
Special handling and Dangerous goods
All vehicles intending to transport dangerous goods, abnormal loads or other specialized cargoes (i.e. animals) should provide at least 24 hours notice to the CST: freightbooking.pl@stenaline.com. Stena Line reserves the right to decline to carry any such cargo that has not been pre-advised. Livestock allowed on Stena Nordica.
Lift On/Lift Off Traffic
Stena Line operates a “Roll on / Roll off” service for unaccompanied trailers and accompanied traffic. In Gdynia “Lo / Lo” facilities for unaccompanied containers needs assistance from the Baltic Container Terminal and have to be pre-booked, this can be done by Stena Line. Cut-off times for no show and late handling units – 6 hours. No metal tracks allowed.
