Call for Evidence
On 7th February, HMRC and HM Treasury published a Call for evidence. They ask businesses and the border industry for their suggestions on:
- Improvements to help traders access a quality customs intermediary sector.
- How the benefits of the Simplified Customs Declarations Process (SCDP) can be expanded.
- How the Transit facilitation can be improved.
The call for evidence will run until Monday 2nd May. Those wishing to contribute can find out how to do so by clicking here.
Webinar
HMRC and HM Treasury will also be hosting a webinar to introduce the Call for Evidence to stakeholders, give guidance about how to reply, and answer any questions you may have.
