We increase our departures between Sweden and Poland

In order to take full advantage of increased demand for freight on the Gdynia-Karlskrona route Stena Line’s expanded timetable with an additional mid-week round trip with the vessel ‘Stena Baltica’ is now into force.

The number of freight units on the Gdynia-Karlskrona route indicates a continued strong growth in freight.

“Every year we have recorded an increase in traffic on the route between Poland and Sweden in every segment. In 2015 we noted yet again that volumes are rising within both accompanied and unaccompanied units and we see continued growth this year. This is the result of dynamic growth of export from Poland to Scandinavian countries”, says Tony Michaelsen, Route Manager Baltic Sea.

Stena Baltica has therefore now ten instead of eight departures on the Gdynia-Karlskrona route.

“The route is strategically important to Stena Line and our focus is to constantly being flexible and responsive for market demands, to be able to adapt quickly to the market”, says Tony Michaelsen.
