The route from Travemünde to Liepāja takes ~26 hours. Stena Line operates the Skandinavienkai terminal in Travemünde, one of the largest RoRo and ferry ports in Europe. Travemünde has excellent hinterland connections with efficient intermodal services and four lane motorways to Hamburg and Szcecin in Poland.
The Skandinavienkai is the hub not only for all cargoes transported by truck, semi-trailer, container or swap body, but also all kind of automotive types for the Northern and Eastern European markets are handled here.
In the Port of Liepāja Stena Line operates form the Terrabalt terminal. The Port of Liepāja is an ice-free south-western located port, which gives our customers the opportunity for an all-year-round service and makes the Terrabalt terminal a convenient transport link between Eastern and Western Europe even during severe winters. From the terminal it is possible to deliver cargo by railway to any destination in Russia, the C.I.S. and the Baltic States.
