Bookings procedure and policy
An advance booking is recommended to secure space (supported in writing for confirmation purposes). Stena Line does not carry forward bookings to the following day unless specifically instructed to do so. In such instances, all requests are dependent on space availability.

For quick and easy booking direct via the Internet please see details of our options detailed under ‘Customer Services’ on the main menu on the left hand side above.

For regular weekly flows of business, we would be delighted to investigate the possibility to arrange allocation of pre-booked space.

Units requiring temperature control during the voyage
Any vehicle requiring temperature control during the voyage - must be pre-advised with the required temperature (in Degrees Celsius) indicated on booking instructions.

Unaccompanied procedures
Trailer release obtained through a release note system. Hauliers should ensure that the collecting unit has release authority or that details of the collecting unit and vehicle to be collected are faxed to the port before arriving.

Stena Line can provide automated advice of shipment when vehicles ship against a specific customer’s account, to assist with this process.

Livestock/Bloodstock
Bloodstock is permitted but is subject to guidelines governing the legal transport and welfare of animals we can accept.

A ‘Livestock Policy’ applies on this Route for shipments to Belfast. As there are no lairage facilities in Belfast no livestock shipments are permitted to Belfast. Further information is available upon request.

Trade Vehicles
Trade vehicles such as cars, chassis, caravans etc. are carried on this route (conventional service only). Shipment of trade units may be shipped on peak sailings, subject to availability.
